Create a Wire In

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for depositing funds into your Localpayment account via a Wire In. Once received, these funds are available for payouts or currency exchange.

Technical Requirements

  • Payment instructions from the Treasury Team for the account you wish to settle
  • Proof of payment documentation (PDF, JPEG, PNG, or DOC format, under 2MB)
  • Access to your email for OTP verification

Authorization Flow Option

If you need additional verification for Wire Ins, please contact Localpayment support to enable the Authorization flow. When enabled, an Authorizer user must approve the Wire In request before the transaction is marked as Received.

To access the Wire In creation page:

Side Menu → Settlement & Exchange → Wire In → Create

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these steps to create a new Wire In:

  1. Navigate to the Settlement & Exchange module.
  2. Select the Wire In section.
  3. Then, select the Create section.
  4. Select a Country from the dropdown list. Only countries with payment instructions associated and Wire In enabled will be displayed in the list.
  5. Choose the account you want to settle by clicking the Add Funds button next to the desired account.
  6. Carefully review the Payment Details displayed, then click Continue to proceed.

If you need the payment instructions for your records, click Download Payment Instructions to save a copy.

  1. Enter the transferred amount in the Amount field.
  2. Click the Upload button to attach your proof of payment.
  3. Click the Confirm button to proceed. A confirmation code will be sent to your registered email address.
  4. Enter the confirmation code in the designated field and click the Confirm button to complete your Wire In request. A success message will be shown, and your Wire In request will be submitted for processing. You can track the status of your Wire In in the Activity section.
