Business Portal Overview
Sign in to the Localpayment Merchant Business Portal and learn how to navigate its main sections to manage your payment operations.
Sign In Process
Follow these steps to access your Localpayment Merchant Business Portal:
- Navigate to the production environment or for testing.
- Enter your Email Address and Password.
- Click Continue to receive a verification code via email.
- Enter the Verification Code from your email.
- Click Verify to complete the authentication.
Don't have a Localpayment account yet? Click Begin your onboarding on the sign-in page to start the onboarding process.
First-Time Login
First-time users will be prompted to update their password:
- Enter a new secure password meeting the displayed requirements (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols).
- Confirm your password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Save to update your credentials.
After signing in, the Business Portal automatically opens the first screen available to your account, based on your assigned permissions.
Business Portal Navigation
Available Modules
Once logged in, you'll have access to various modules based on your assigned profile:
View key metrics and performance indicators for your payment operations.
Generate detailed transaction reports and analytics.
Manage incoming payments and collection methods.
Process outgoing payments and disbursements.
Handle currency exchange and settlement operations.
Manage account settings and system configurations.
Check real-time system status and incident updates.
Navigation Elements
Left Side Menu
The primary navigation menu provides quick access to all business portal modules and tools. Each section is clearly labeled with icons for easy identification.
Upper Navigation Bar
The top navigation bar includes
- API Docs: Opens the Localpayment developer documentation in a new tab.
- Transaction Search: Quick search functionality to find transactions by Internal or External ID.
- Dark/Light Mode Toggle: Switches the appearance of the entire portal instantly. Both themes use the same data and functionality — only the appearance changes.
- User Menu: Shows your company name, your user role, and account type, with access to the logout option.
Getting Started
After logging in, we recommend:
- Explore the Business Portal: Review your transaction summaries and key metrics.
- Configure Your Settings: Set up your account preferences and notification settings.
- Generate Reports: Create your first report to understand your transaction flow.
- Test Transactions: If using staging, perform test transactions to familiarize yourself with the process.
