Iframe Keys
Learn how to create and manage iframe keys for embedded checkout integration in the Localpayment Dashboard
Iframe keys enable you to securely embed Localpayment's checkout functionality within your own application or website. These keys act as authentication credentials for integrating our payment solution directly into your development environment.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have:
Access Requirements
- Valid credentials for the Localpayment Dashboard
- User account with security settings permissions
Technical Requirements
- A registered domain where the iframe will be embedded
- Active destination account for receiving payments
Navigation Path
Side Menu → PayIn → Checkout → Iframe Keys
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to the PayIn module from the side menu.
- Select the Checkout section.
- Then, select the Iframe Keys section.
- Click the Add Key pairs button.
- Fill in the required product details:
- Title of your product or service: Enter a descriptive name for easy identification.
- Domain: Specify the exact domain where the iframe will be hosted.
- Select Country: Choose the country where your business operates or where payments will be processed.
- Select Destination Account: Pick the account where received funds will be deposited.
- Currency: Select the primary currency for transactions.
- Click Accept to create your key. The system will confirm the creation of your keys and will display the generated private key.

Navigate to the PayIn module from the dashboard side menu.

Managing Your Iframe Keys
Viewing Existing Keys
Navigate to the Iframe Keys section to see a comprehensive list of all your created keys, including:
- Key title and creation date
- Associated domain
- Status (Active/Inactive)
- Country and currency configuration
Removing Iframe Key
- Locate the key you want to remove in your keys list.
- Click the Delete icon next to the key.
- Review the confirmation message carefully - this action cannot be undone.
- Click OK to permanently remove the key.
Warning
Deleting a key will immediately disable any integrations using it. Ensure you have updated your implementations before deletion.
Deactivate/Activate Iframe Key
- Find the key you wish to deactivate or activate in your keys list.
- Click the Deactivate/Activate toggle icon next to the key.
- Review the confirmation message carefully.
- Click OK to change the key status.
Tip
Deactivating a key temporarily disables it without deletion, useful for maintenance or troubleshooting.
