Cancel a payout to prevent funds from being transferred. Use this to stop transactions that were created in error or require correction.

Note

You can only cancel payouts with a status of Locked or On Hold. For details on status transitions, see the Payout Overview documentation.

This endpoint safeguards your transactions by ensuring funds are not sent to the wrong recipient or for an incorrect amount.
